Sashimi and Oysters
Had an enjoyable long weekend up in Sydney with a few friends. What did we do? Pretty much just eat and shop... and that was just Saturday ;P hahaha, well, by shopping I mean we wandered through Paddy's Market in Chinatown and we spent quite a bit of time at two different Morning Glory stores >.< As for food... well... we had yum cha for lunch, a few things from a Chinese bakery, pearl tea, dinner at a Chinese restaurant (soft-shell crab!)... and then Sunday we went to the fish markets =) I had my favourite sashimi (salmon) and oysters. Somehow I managed a dozen raw oysters... though I think next time I'll get the smaller ones if I have that many!We also wandered briefly around Darling Harbour. It's a really nice spot to just stroll around and enjoy.
Saturday night we watched Final Destination 3 (I haven't seen 1 or 2. It was entertaining, and probably more fun, and less scary, watching with others than on your own), and Failure to Launch (quite funny).
We got home at around 6pm on the Sunday. I didn't end up sleeping 'til about 3am, so it was no surprise that didn't get up 'til noon. Went to Floriade, which was my third time/year. I got roped into a street performer's gig, which was a little embarrassing, but fun. Was almost dinner time by the time I got home.
Needless to say, I didn't really rest that much, though a lot of what we did was fairly leisurely.
hmm... sorry, the retelling's a bit boring, but brain's not up to embellishments at the moment =P
Night everyone.

It sounds like you weren't at the Floriade for very long.
About 3 hours, which is a decent amount of time.
